Kings of Cro-Nation 1 - Summary - 2016/12/04

Greetings!

As usual, I would like to add a short summary of my experiences during the tournament. First of all, I would like to thank Matt and the crew of Three D6 store for organizing and hosting yet another KoW event. It was run very smoothly and without any problems at all. The venues is great, with enough space to have not one but two events at the same time. Next to us a larger group of 30K enthusiasts had their own event! I will do my best to attend future tournaments there and I really recommend them to any player. 

Many thanks to my opponents for great games: Richard (congratulations on taking 1st place!), Tas (with beautiful army I can't wait to see painted!), Matt (congratulations on taking 2nd place! and keep painting these Scibor's Dwarfs!) and to Chris (once again, sorry you run out of time in the game you were winning).

I also would like to thank Michael aka DarthSabre and Richard aka fued who traveled down from Sydney to boost the numbers of participants. That is really great and I am sure your fellow players from Canberra are really grateful! Thanks! 

Kings of Cro-Nation 1 - Game 4 - Undead - 2016/12/03

In the last game of the Kings of CroNation  1 tournament I faced Chris who was commanding his trusty Undead. I played against Chris once before and he won then. I was thus eager for a re-match and to see if I learned something from that game!

Chris brought exactly the same army I had a pleasure to play against last time. It meant that he could field entirely painted army of old school miniatures. Here is the detailed army list:

Kings of Cro-Nation 1 - Game 3 - Dwarfs - 2016/12/01

In game 3 I met Matt, the man who not only organized this tournament but is the mastermind behind the organization of Clash of Kings - Australia 

He is doing absolutely fantastic job about the event, promoting it and securing the sponsorship of so many companies that is beyond believe. 

He was there to make sure that there was an even number of players and that nobody would need to play fewer games than other participants.

It was thus a great pleasure to play against Matt, also because I have not had a chance to do so earlier. 

Matt is currently building an army of Dwarfs and he is using Scibor Miniatures for all the units in his army (with the exception of artillery). They are absolutely fantastic, it was my first opportunity to see them alive and I must say that Matt's army will be gorgeous when painting is done. Keep up the great work Matt!

Kings of Cro-Nation 1 - Game 2 - Trident Realms - 2016/11/27

In the second game I finally had a chance to play against Tas and his Trident Realms. Tas is a fellow blogger and you can check his reports (and other interesting posts!) here: Wedgetail on Wargaming. 

Tas participated in all three tournaments I attended this year but we missed each other out in the previous two. Fortunately, this time we were paired up. He has a beautiful army with some really gorgeous models. It is still WiP but I must say that even with unpainted units and models the army already looks fantastic. I can't wait to see it finished!

Kings of Cro-Nation 1 - Game 1 - Elves and FoN - 2016/11/25

First game during the  Kings of Cro-Nation 1 and it was already Civil War! I had a pleasure to play against Richard aka fued and his 4 "dragon" army! Fighting against 1-2 big fliers is a challenge for me and here I have 4! :) But the best way to learn how to deal with the enemy is by facing it.
