Game 38 - Kingdoms of Men - 2016/12/10

Greetings!

It's been a few months since I played against Michael aka Darth Sabre and he was victorious. You can read the report from that battle here. I hoped for a re-meatch and I guess Micheal wanted to make sure that I know it was not a coincidence! We thought we would have had an opportunity to play against each other during Kings of Cro-Nation 1 event but it was not to be. Fortunately, there is always Universal Battle!

Game 37 - Trident Realms of Neritica - 2016/12/07

Ed's army

Greetings!

Some time ago I had a great pleasure to play against Ed and his Trident Realms. We both had quite a few games in the meantime, both armies evolved and we met again on Universal Battle for a re-match. 

Ed has qualified for UK Masters and is now busy preparing and testing various options. He intends to bring his beautifully painted Trident Realms. However, he also told me that as probably many other players that chose this faction, that Neriticans are very sensitive to enemy ranged attacks. In order to protect his army from such threat he was looking for different options. This time he decided to bring an allied contingent that is designed to battle enemy shooters - Night Stalkers!

Kings of Cro-Nation 1 - Summary - 2016/12/04

Greetings!

As usual, I would like to add a short summary of my experiences during the tournament. First of all, I would like to thank Matt and the crew of Three D6 store for organizing and hosting yet another KoW event. It was run very smoothly and without any problems at all. The venues is great, with enough space to have not one but two events at the same time. Next to us a larger group of 30K enthusiasts had their own event! I will do my best to attend future tournaments there and I really recommend them to any player. 

Many thanks to my opponents for great games: Richard (congratulations on taking 1st place!), Tas (with beautiful army I can't wait to see painted!), Matt (congratulations on taking 2nd place! and keep painting these Scibor's Dwarfs!) and to Chris (once again, sorry you run out of time in the game you were winning).

I also would like to thank Michael aka DarthSabre and Richard aka fued who traveled down from Sydney to boost the numbers of participants. That is really great and I am sure your fellow players from Canberra are really grateful! Thanks! 

Kings of Cro-Nation 1 - Game 4 - Undead - 2016/12/03

In the last game of the Kings of CroNation  1 tournament I faced Chris who was commanding his trusty Undead. I played against Chris once before and he won then. I was thus eager for a re-match and to see if I learned something from that game!

Kings of Cro-Nation 1 - Game 3 - Dwarfs - 2016/12/01

Greetings!

In game 3 I met Matt, the man who not only organized this tournament but is the mastermind behind the organization of Clash of Kings - Australia 

He is doing absolutely fantastic job about the event, promoting it and securing the sponsorship of so many companies that is beyond believe. 

He was there to make sure that there was an even number of players and that nobody would need to play fewer games than other participants.

It was thus a great pleasure to play against Matt, also because I have not had a chance to do so earlier. 

Matt is currently building an army of Dwarfs and he is using Scibor Miniatures for all the units in his army (with the exception of artillery). They are absolutely fantastic, it was my first opportunity to see them alive and I must say that Matt's army will be gorgeous when painting is done. Keep up the great work Matt!
