Game 122 - Empire - 2014/10/10

Greetings!

Wardancer was very eager to have a rematch so we finally managed to synchronize our free time to play a game over UB. It looked to me that he played the same army as before but if I get his full army list with details then I will update the report. All I have already written about his army has not changed and I knew that this time he will not be that reckless with his characters in particular.

My army changed a little, I left Book of Hoeth at home and picked my trusty Earthing Rod. Bob the BSB got Ring of Fury again to see if he can support Larry in the magic phase. Other than that it is the same army I used last time. Here is the deployment:

Game 121 - Vampire Counts - 2014/09/28

Greetings!

Another episode of garage hammer but this time at my friend Kaleb place. Last time we played at the local store and he brought Dwarves then. This time he decided to field Vampire Count army themed around Strigoi Ghoul King and his minions. We played on his beautiful gaming table and being a sneaky opponent, Kaleb made his table 4 x 4 feet wide so that my small units had less space to run around his flanks! Battle for the Pass it is then.

The battle defying the limitations of time and space was fought between Outcasts and Lizardmen led by US Master player, Hinge himself! It was a great honor for me to be challenged to the personal duel and we have already discussed some details of the upcoming game in my army blog. Game 118 - Dwarves - 2014/08/25

Greetings!

I had an opportunity to play against my friend in the local store. I discovered the fact I had one nearby by pure chance and it happened that they are open longer on Thursdays so we decided to give it a go. Especially that they have some tables ready.

Me and my friend often met at tournaments but we played against each other only once. He wanted to test his new Dwarves as he was intrigued by the new book. He had a force comprised almost entirely of old school models, with only a single new regiment. I don't remember all the details at the moment but hopefully I will get them soon.

Darth Sabre is one of the players who owns more than one army and he wanted to test his Ogre Kingdom force. He also wanted to try new approach to it, so that it is not a standard Gutstar type of an army. I am sure Jimmy the Beastmaster would approve! :)

Despite lots of work in real life I am very happy to have some regular opportunities to play Warhammer recently. After 2 games against O&G Eastern Barbarian came up with another idea for unorthodox army, this time based on Empire army book.
